Uphill running

When trail running/hill running, avoid the temptation to lean too far foward on big uphills. Keep as upright as you can - even if it means slowing down a bit. This will allow your lungs to work closer to full capacity and it will save your back.

  1. Excellent advice! When I go uphill I lean more upright and immediatly fall backwards which soon puts be in a prone postion where I quickly find to my liking as opposed to continual uphill running.

  2. My advice for hills is to avoid them like the plague. :)
