What I Did to Change the World Today

2008 is a leap year, which means that it has 366 days instead of the usual 365 days that an ordinary year has. That extra day is today – Feb. 29th.

I call it a bonus day. Extra time. A freebie. Today didn’t even exist in the past three years. It’s a day that makes up for all those situations when we wished we had “just a little more time.” My life just got a day longer. I should feel blessed, right? Not everyone gets this amazing chance, you know.

So, what did I do with this sacred extra day that we always dream of? What did I do to soak up the preciousness of time? How did I make the world a better place? Well, I did this all day:

  3. Way to use your time wisely! :)

I attempted to explain to my students what Leap year is all about... talk about a challenge. I had a student flat out say between smiles and a bit of a laugh "I really don't get it, Ms. S." I told her that was okay. hehehe.
