Spring Trail Running

Most of the snow has melted, or is melting very fast. Time to throw on the trail shoes for a few months.

Loving my Cascadia 6

  1. Great pictures! I see that you're running RnR Seattle! Me, too! Are you racing this, or just running for fun? Maybe we could catch a few miles together? And... have you tried the new Trailblades? The last Trail shoe I wore were the Adrenaline versions (years ago). I am looking to get a new pair, but can't decide. I have heard AWESOME things about the Cascadia, but now with the new Trailblade out...

  3. @L.A. Runner - Yep, I'll be at RnR Seattle! I'm running a double that weekend (Bellevue Ghost Marathon the next day) so I'll try to be taking it easy. If you aren't racing either then it would be great to run a few miles together.

I haven't tried the Trailblades - I'm just so happy with the Cascadia that I have trouble imagining myself in another trail shoe. The Cascadia is perfect for the type of trails I run on most (not so smooth, not so even, lots of climbing/downhill, wet, on the aggressive side). But when the Pure Grit comes out in a couple months, I think I'm going to test those waters. :)

  4. Hey Scott... Yes it was nice at CDA that weekend. But Riverside Park does have some nice trails. I working on firing up the RV to bring down for your race (Palouse Double). Any suggestions for campgrounds?

  6. I love how green the national forest looks. I haven't been checking into your blog lately. Don't take it personal...I haven't been checking anyone's in quite some time. I need to start checking in more often and start getting some miles in. I've been missing it.
