Taper, by Scott

So, what do I do with my first ever taper week? Go to the playground!

Wheeeeeeeee!

Yippeeeeeeeeee!

Whoooaaaaaaaa!

I wish there was a shot of my back flip dismount from the swing. Actually, it was a double back flip twist.

Not running never felt so good. I think I may join the circus. Just kidding. But seriously, I might.

Keep tapering!

Scott

  1. Thanks for the comment on my pool training blog. I haven't started yet, but I'm actually looking forward to pool running as it will be the nearest thing to running I have done in what feels like forever.

I am very, very jealous of you and your romp around the playground!
    Happy tapering!

  3. That rollie thing looks like quite a workout. Now be careful out there, last thing we need is injury while tapering on the playground. :>P

  8. You need to be careful out there on the playground. You never know when you might take a nasty fall off the swing or slide :) Looks like you're enjoying the taper. Watch out JFK!

  9. I was thinking the same thing Rob. You need to watch your landings on those dismounts. Now is not the time to twist an ankle/knee. Lets have no more of that ludicrous behaviour so close to your 50 miler!

  16. I didn't know you were available to take kids to the park! That would be so much fun for you...we could probably line up quite a few, you could spend a few hours chasing them around, breaking up fights, wiping away tears...wait...what were we talking about again?

  19. Good for you for tapering! I'm not sure why it's so hard for so many people; other than nerves, I've always enjoyed it as well :) Love the pictures on your site!
