Glad you got the opportunity to run the Peak, such a special race, really brings out the best trail runners around the area! Congrats on a great race! This race has been calling me for a few years. Being a flatlander, here in Houston, I wonder how I could ever possibly train for it. I've been tempted to do the 10 miler at Garden of the Gods, but it seems silly to travel all that way for a 10 mile race. Though it would be a 10 mile race that would kick my butt!
