I fin...I am a tennis fanatic with "runner's knee". I find your posts inspiring, but I also think you're pushing yourself too hard!! I have been doing stationary bike/ swim cross-training to get some muscle mass in my quads. Plus stretching and tons of time off. The thing that has helped me the most, stragely enough, was spending two hours in a hot-spring soak in Idaho Springs, Colorado. I think many of our joint/muscle problems have to do with our food being grown in played-out soil. Modern man is literally nutrient deprived. Please, find a mineral hot spring (certainly Iceland will have them) and take some mineral supplements, vitamins, especially C and D. I find magnessium supplements and soaks (in the bathtub) have really helped a lot.
